Privacy Policy
- Your photos never leave your device. Crop suggestions, effects and adjustments are computed on your phone.
- We do not collect, store, sell or share personal data.
- There is no account, no advertising and no tracking.
- On Android, Google ML Kit recognises people and objects on the device; it does not send your photos but does send technical diagnostics to Google (see below).
1. Who we are
WisWit (the “app”) is a photo editing app that helps you find new crops inside your photos. Publisher: Mavi Piksel. Contact: support@wiswit.app.
2. Your photos
- The photo you pick or take is processed only on your device. It is not sent to any server; the app has no server.
- Every photo you save is a new file. Your original is never overwritten, and metadata such as location is not added to the new file.
- Recent edits: so you can continue an edit later, a copy of the photo and your edit settings are kept in the app’s own storage on your device only. Delete them any time via Gizlilik ve destek → Düzenleme geçmişini sil (Privacy & support → Delete edit history), or by uninstalling the app. Your originals in the gallery are not touched.
3. Data we collect
As the publisher we collect no personal data: no name, email, location, contacts, device ID, usage analytics or crash reports. The app contains no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK. The Android exception is described below.
4. Android: Google ML Kit
The Android version uses Google ML Kit to recognise faces, poses, objects, text and scenes. Recognition runs entirely on your device and your photo is not sent. According to Google, ML Kit sends the following technical data to Google over HTTPS to monitor and measure the library’s use: device information (manufacturer, model, OS version), the app’s package name and version, performance metrics, input and output size, error codes, and per-installation identifiers not intended to identify a user or device. Some components use Firebase Installations and Remote Config. Google states it does not transfer this data to third parties. Details: Google ML Kit data disclosure.
5. iOS: Apple Vision
On iOS, recognition runs on the device with Apple’s Vision framework, and no such data is sent.
6. Permissions
| Permission | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Photos | Only to open the photo you pick and to save your crop to your gallery as a new photo. |
| Camera | Only when you choose to take a photo inside the app. |
| Location, microphone, contacts | Not requested. |
You can turn permissions off any time in your device settings; the rest of the app keeps working.
7. Sharing
When you share a photo, only that photo is sent, through your device’s share sheet, to the app you choose. You start this action. That app’s own privacy policy applies.
8. Deleting your data and your rights
We keep no personal data on a server, so there is no account or record to delete. You can delete on-device drafts in the app (Delete edit history) or by uninstalling. For the technical data ML Kit sends to Google on Android, Google’s policies apply. If you have questions, write to support@wiswit.app.
You can use the same address to exercise rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) or Turkey’s KVKK (access, rectification, erasure, objection). Because we process no personal data, our answer will usually be that we hold no data about you.
9. Children
The app collects no personal data, so it collects none from children. It is not directed at children and requires no account.
10. Changes
If this policy changes, the current version will be published on this page with its effective date. If the app ever adds a feature that sends photos off the device, it will be announced and your consent requested before the feature is used.
